We are not accepting transfer applications at this time; however, we will be recruiting WDS Firefighters in early October 2020, if you are interested in working for our Service please follow our social media accounts and this website for further updates.
During the coronavirus pandemic, we are still accepting applications for on-call firefighters but, due to social distancing, we are having to do some parts of the process differently. This will include online meetings rather than face-to-face and additional control measures for fitness testing. However, please don’t be put off by this, we will work with you to help your application progress as smoothly as possible.
For a full list of ALL our current vacancies, click Search using the portal below. If you wish, use the search filters to select your preferred options for a more specific list of vacancies. Once you have selected these, click Search. To apply for the vacancy selected, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Apply.
