Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service (HFRS) received a call at 17:27 on Monday 10 August regarding a fire in the Ringwood Forest area.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service alongside HFRS have been tackling the fire, which involves an area of approx. 200m x 200m. A total of 110 firefighters were at the scene at its peak.
Please avoid the area and if your home is affected by the smoke, please keep windows and doors closed. We would also like to ask that people find other places for walking, cycling or other leisure activity while the incident is on-going.
