House fire – Edington

Date: 28th December, 2025

Time: 5.09pm

Description: We were called to Salisbury Hollow, Edington at 5.09pm on 28 December for a property fire. Crews attended from Trowbridge (x2) and Warminster (x2), together with a water carrier from Wilton and the aerial ladder platform from Salisbury, and breathing apparatus wearers used two hose reel jets and a main jet to tackle the blaze. The fire is believed to have started accidentally in a first floor living room, before spreading to the ground floor and into the roof space.
