Description: Crews from Ringwood, Ferndown, Springbourne and Christchurch fire stations attended a fire on heathland which covered and area of approximately 250 square metres. Shortly after arrival crews requested a further 2 Fire Engines, 3 Landrovers and a Water Carrier to assist with accessing and extinguishing the fire on the heath. The fire was extinguished using 6 hose reel jets from Landrovers and beaters. The stop message was received at 11.55pm and crews were clear from the scene by midnight. A re inspection will be carried out by crews early this morning to ensure there are no hotspots or reignition.
