Overview
Ferndown is crewed on weekdays by wholetime firefighters working 8am to 6.30pm and by on-call firefighters at night and on weekends.
On-call firefighters have other jobs and obligations. They commit time to the Fire & Rescue Service throughout the week and respond to emergency calls when paged.

This fire station has a clothing recycling bank for the Fire Fighters Charity.
