Description: Bournemouth - a call was received reporting a smell of burning in the area of KFC at Royal London House on the Lansdowne roundabout. As the building is high rise, crews from @DWFRSSpringbrne, @DWFRSWestbourne, @DWFRSRedhill, @DWFRSXchurch, @DWFRSPooleFire, @DWFRSHamworthy and @DWFRSFerndown were all mobilised. On arrival, smoke was visible and upon investigation it was found that this was coming from the waste bin area at the rear of the building. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire externally and crews gained access internally in order to check for fire spread. Resources were released from scene just before 2.30am although a crew remained in attendance to liaise with other agencies.
