Cranborne is one of eight stations across Dorset and Wiltshire proposed for closure. More information on the proposals can be found here.
A public consultation was open from Friday 13 February until 5pm on Friday 15 May 2026.
During this time, we held public meetings in each affected town or village, to allow you to understand the data and impact of a closure and give us your thoughts. We also held online dial-in sessions for each town or village.
