Electrical Transformer Fire

Crews from Marlborough and Stratton were mobilised to reports of a smouldering transformer in Ramsbury. The electricity board isolated the transformer and fire crews extinguished the fire using a hose reel jet. Nearby homes have been affected by power loss but the electricity board are working to rectify this.

Two Vehicle RTC – Corsham
11th February, 2026 at 08:48
We were called with reports of a RTC off of Bath Road in Corsham. Two crews were mobilised from Corsham and Chippenham. Firefighters made the scene safe with small tools and carried out casualty care to casualties with minor injuries and they were left in the care of the Ambulance Service and the scene was left with Police. Our stop was at 09:35am.

Bin lorry fire – Fordington
10th February, 2026 at 10:24am
We were called to High Street, Fordington to reports of a fire involving the load of a bin lorry. Two crews from Dorchester attended. Firefighters used one hose reel jet to extinguish, and our stop came in at 10.53am.

Roof fire – Bournemouth
9th February, 2026 at 12.02pm
We were called to Alumhurst Road, Bournemouth for a fire in the roof space of a block of flats. At the height of the incident, there were crews in attendance from Westbourne, Springbourne, Redhill Park, Poole (x2), Christchurch (x2), New Milton and Ringwood, together with the aerial ladder platform from Westbourne, a water carrier from Poole and a support unit from Hamworthy.
