Battery fire – Kingston Lacy

Date: 22nd March, 2026

Time: 11.51am

Description: We were called to Kingston Lacy House for a small fire in the store room of the stable block restaurant. Three crews attended, from Wimborne, Poole and Redhill Park, and four breathing apparatus wearers and two hose reel jets were used. The stop was at 1.17pm, and an investigation confirmed that the fire started accidentally due to a lithium ion battery.
