Description: Two fire crews from Weymouth and one from Bridport attended a tractor fire in a field of stubble in Bramdon Lane in Portesham this morning. The tractor was well alight and the fire had spread to a field of stubble. Initially there was a large plume of smoke but once the fire had been extinguished, using a total of four reel jets and a single breathing apparatus wearer, this subsided. Two appliances remain in attendance damping down the area.
