Description: At 16:51 Fire control took a 999 call to reports of a chimney fire in Poole. On arrival the crew confirmed that the fire had spread from the chimney and was affecting the roof of 3 properties. The incident commander requested the attendance of 4 further fire engines and the Aerial from Westbourne. Appliances from Westbourne (pump and ALP), Poole (3 pumps) Hamworth (command unit), Springbourne (pump) were mobilised. The stop messages was received in control at 19;39. 8 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets and 2 main jets and the ALP were used to extinguish the fire. The British Red Cross Emergency Response team based at Springbourne fire station also attended.
