Description: M4 Eastbound Junction 17 to Junction 16 - At 17:46 Police requested the attendance of the fire service for a single vehicle road traffic collision with possible persons trapped. Crews from Chippenham, Royal Wootton Bassett and Yate (from Avon FRS) were mobilised. On arrival of the first crew it was confirmed that one vehicle had left the carriageway and was on its roof. The driver had managed to self extricate prior to arrival of the fire crews and was handed over to the care of the ambulance service. The vehicle was made safe before the fire crews left the incident in the hands of Police.
