Rescue from height – Rampisham

Time: 8.15pm

Description: Rampisham Down - Rescue from height.  This evening a BASE jumper was rescued from a large transmitter pylon in the Rampisham Down area of West Dorset by crews from Beaminster and tech rescue from Weymouth.  The incident was also supported  by over the border appliances from Yeovil.  Crews isolated the transmitters  making the site safe prior to Weymouth's technical rescue team  releasing and lowering the BASE jumper to safety who was then conveyed to hospital by ambulance.
