Description: One fire engine and the technical rescue team from Poole fire station attended Roberts Lane in Poole this evening following reports of a man being stuck on an island in the middle of a large pond. After assessing the situation the technical rescue team were deployed and quickly brought the gentleman back across the pond to land where he was checked over by ambulance crews on scene. Crews were clear from the scene by 7.53pm.
