Description: We were called to The Pitchens, Wroughton for a fire affecting the roof of a detached house. Six crews were initially on scene, together with a water carrier from Royal Wootton Bassett and a command unit from Pewsey. We scaled back over the course of the evening and had one crew on scene overnight dealing with hot spots. The stop was at 9.38am on 30 April, with severe damage to the whole property. No injuries have been reported, the fire started accidentally after a garden bonfire spread to a tree and then the house.
