Description: We were called at 3:57pm on 6 January with reports of a property fire in Oare. Two fire appliances were mobilised from Marlborough and Stratton, and on arrival crews found a fire within a single storey private dwelling. Four breathing apparatus wearers used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. Firefighters rescued two cats, one dog and several reptiles from the property. The occupier sustained some injuries and was given casualty care by firefighters. Our stop was in at 7:34pm.
