Description: Poole - A crew from Redhill was mobilised to a fire in the open in the Bearwood area. Once in attendance further resources were requested. Two landrovers with pumping capability were mobilised from Wimborne and Christchurch, and pumps from Poole (two) and Ferndown to fulfil this request. The crews used four hose reel jets and multiple beaters to extinguish the fire, which covered an area of approximately one hectare. All appliances have now left scene but the incident remains open for re-inspection in the morning.
