Description: Multiple appliances have been in attendance at a large area of woodland near Burley Road, Bransgore assisting colleagues at Hampshire & Isle of Wight FRS. A total of nine pumps were in attendance together with several land rover pumps and water carriers. The area involved is approximately 200 meters by 400 meters and four hose reel jets were used to extinguish.
The incident was scaled down overnight but a few fire service vehicles remain on the scene this morning with relief crews working to extinguish hotspots.
