Description: We were called to Westmead Industrial Estate, Swindon to reports of a gas leak. Two crews from Swindon and Westlea attended and on arrival, firefighters located the gas main which had been damaged by a vehicle. A 25m cordon was put in place and the surrounding buildings were evacuated as a precaution. Engineers from Wales & West Utilities attended the scene to contain the leak. Our stop came in at 11.56am and the incident was handed over to the gas board. The cordon has been lifted, and we have now left the scene.
