Four fire crews tackled a serious fire in a first floor flat at Thorncombe Close, Poole this morning (10 September).
The fire was reported shortly after 1am. One man was brought out of the property but despite the best efforts of firefighters and paramedics, he was sadly declared dead at the scene. The cause of the fire is as yet unknown but an investigation is ongoing.
