Description: Firefighters from Sherborne, Gillingham, Dorchester, Bridport and Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue Service are currently fighting a chimney fire at a thatched property. The fire is believed to have originated in a flue. The thatch is being stripped away around the chimney to prevent ignition. Crews are using 3 hose reel jets, 1 safety jet, 3 ladders and working at height equipment.
