Description: Hannington Wick - wholetime and on-call firefighters from Stratton attended a property in Hannington Wick after the owner reported a probably chimney fire, but with lots of smoke within the property. Firefighters used a chimney kit, including a stirrup pump and rods, to extinguish the fire and used a thermal imaging camera to fully inspect the property and the roof void. One of the crews remained in attendance until just after 9.30pm to ensure the fire was fully out.
