Description: Calne - firefighters from @CalneFireStn attended reports of a chimney fire and on arrival removed a wood burner and tackled the fire from the hearth using a chimney kit. However, the crew then requested the attendance of an aerial ladder platform in order to tackle the fire from the roof and a building control officer also attended to inspect the chimney stack. The crews remained in attendance until gone 2.30pm to ensure that the incident was completely safe.
