Description: Following a call to Fire Control from Wiltshire Police reporting that a light aircraft had crashed into a field at Knapp Hill, Fire engines from Marlborough, Pewsey and Devizes supported by the off road vehicle from Ludgershall and the heavy rescue unit from Trowbridge were mobilised. On arrival, crews located one downed light aircraft in a farmers field and thankfully the 2 occupants of the aircraft managed to self extricate uninjured.
