Description: A31 Ferndown / West Moors - crews from @DWFRSFerndown and @DWFRSRedhill attended a 2 vehicle road traffic collision, with one of the vehicles on fire. Firefighters extinguished the fire using hose reel jets and both vehicles were made safe by disconnecting the batteries. A small quantity of engine oil was absorbed from the highway using Environment Agency pads, which are carried on fire engines. The westbound carriageway was closed and the incident was left with the Police.
