How can you help us?

Whether you are a carer, social worker or another professional that supports people in their homes, we would encourage you to think of fire risks whilst undertaking your role.

We recommend that anyone needing any kind of care and support at home would benefit from a Home Fire Safety visit.

All referrals from partner agencies should be made via our website, where a series of questions will be asked to determine the fire risks within the home.

Our visits are based on goodwill advice. It is up to the occupier to follow our suggestions and recommendations. We cannot enforce anyone to follow our guidance within their own home.

If you enter a referral on behalf of a client, please make sure you give as much relevant information as possible, including your contact details.

Always make sure the client is aware we will be contacting them and let them know that it could take a few weeks for us to make that initial contact.

Please note the Home Fire Safety Team work office hours only and we will respond to any queries as soon as possible.
