A car wash is being held at Trowbridge fire station this Saturday (22 June) in aid of the Fire Fighters Charity.
The event will run from 10am to 2pm at the fire station on Hilperton Road, with firefighters on hand to wash cars – and any other vehicles!
Watch Manager Larson Taylor said: “The Fire Fighters Charity looks after everyone in the fire and rescue service, but they rely on fundraising to do this. We’re hoping to raise as much money as possible with this car wash, so hope as many people as possible support us.”
The Fire Fighters Charity provides rehabilitation, recuperation and mental health support to all current and retired members of the fire and rescue service in the UK. More information can be found at www.firefighterscharity.org.uk
