Date: 25th October, 2022
We are inviting potential estates contractors to our Headquarters on Friday 18 November to discuss the type of work we have available and how contractors can take part in ‘request for quote’ and ‘invitation to tender’ processes.
We’d like to engage potential contractors and help them to understand:
- the types of work we tender for;
- the DWFRS estate;
- the procurement system and process;
- project delivery; and
- contract management and invoicing.
We’re keen to help businesses understand the procurement process so that we find the right contractors for the different services we require.
The session will be held on Friday 18 November, at Service HQ, Five Rivers, Hulse Road, Salisbury from 10am-12pm. To book a place please contact [email protected] – due to limited space, attendance is limited to one representative per organisation.
Jerry Welch, Property Services Manager at Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service, said: “We have a variety of works that need to be undertaken in our premises on a regular basis, including electrics, plumbing, structural maintenance and grounds work. We’re keen to talk to local contractors, help them understand our processes, and work with them to ensure our buildings remain safe for our staff and the community.”
