Four Making a Difference awards were presented to staff at the Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service awards ceremony held in Salisbury on 12 September.
Sponsored by Kubus and NEC SWS, the awards acknowledge and celebrate outstanding or innovative contributions of staff, volunteers and external colleagues to the Service’s strategic aims.
Crew Manager David Armstrong, from Poole fire station, was recognised for his commitment and dedication to the implementation of the Operational Support Unit project.
Digital Transformation Manager Emily Gadd received her award for her hard work, professionalism and dedication to the successful delivery of the Service’s new HR system.
Control Firefighter Shannon Harvey was recognised for her work in developing and producing information videos for use on social media to support recruitment to the Service Control Centre.
Head of ICT Fiona Kiernan-Tatem received her award for her commitment and dedication to the Service’s diversity and culture priorities.
