Description: We were called at 3.42am today (28 November) to High West Street, Weymouth to reports of a property fire. Four crews initially attended from Weymouth and Portland.
Twelve breathing apparatus wearers used four hose reel jets to extinguish, and a large fan for smoke logging. Our stop came in at 6.38am but relief crews from Bridport and Weymouth remain on scene to monitor hotspots.
Roads in the Boothill area of Weymouth including Wyke Road, Rodwell Road and Chickerell Road are currently closed.
The cause is being investigated.
