Description: We were called to Queens Drive, Swindon for a fire in a terraced property.
Three crews attended, from Swindon, Stratton and Westlea; four occupants had escaped the house before we arrived, and a child was rescued. All five were taken to hospital.
The fire started accidentally in the ground floor living room, with six breathing apparatus wearers using three jets to extinguish it. Mechanical ventilation was used to clear the smoke. The stop was at 8am.
