Description: At 2.46 am this morning the Service received a couple of calls to a property on Cardigan Road, Bournemouth to reports of a fire in a back room of the house and possible persons still inside and persons in the back garden unable to get around to the front of the building to safety. Fire crews from Redhill Park, Springbourne and Westbourne Fire Stations attended, and on arrival found smoke issuing. All persons were all accounted for, no rescues were required from the Fire Service. The fire was in a downstairs bedroom, which was extinguished using 4 firefighters in breathing apparatus with 2 hose reels and a positive pressure ventilation fan was used to dissipate the smoke. British Red Cross also assisted as the scene due to the property becoming uninhabitable
