Description: Crews were called to a fire in a first floor flat where smoke could be seen coming out of the window. 1 male was rescued and the fire was extinguished using 6 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reels and a main line. Positive pressure ventilation was then used to clear the smoke. The crews who attended initially requested assistance so this incident ended up with 7 fire engines and a aerial ladder platform.
