Property fire involving tumble dryer – Wareham

Date: 20th March, 2023

Time: 11,03am

Description: Sandford, Wareham - a Poole fire crew (which was covering Wareham fire station) and a Wareham fire crew were mobilised to a report of smoke coming from a tumble dryer at a property on Tamlin Street in Sandford.  During the call it was confirmed that the occupant and several pets were able to leave safely.  The fire was confined to the tumble dryer and was out prior to the arrival of crews and firefighters removed the appliance from the property and carried out a Safe & Well visit to help with the occupant's safety.
