Description: 12:50pm Firefighters from Stratton, Cricklade and Royal Wootton Bassett were called at 11.46am to reports of a large vehicle fire on the A419 near Calcutt. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are using hose reels to extinguish the fire which is affecting approx 20 tonnes of electrical materials in a trailer. The road is closed and will remain closed for some time. The public are asked to avoid the area and find an alternative route. 4pm Firefighters remain at the scene of this incident, although good progress is being made. The A419 northbound carriageway remains closed.
