Description: Firefighters were mobilised to an area of cliff east of Boscombe Pier measuring approximately 100m x 20m involving heather and gorse well alight. Pumping appliances from Springbourne, Westbourne, Christchurch, Redhill and Poole attended along with an aerial ladder platform from Westbourne and a water carrier from Hampshire & IOW Fire and Rescue Service. Four main lines were used to extinguish the fire. Police were also in attendance and a representative from the Council.
