Large animal rescue – Gillingham

Description: A crew from Gillingham together with Poole technical rescue teams and an animal trained officer were called to assist at an animal rescue in Kings Court Road in Gillingham. A farmer called to report that a cow was submerged in a pond and unable to get itself out. Although the firefighters were standing by ready to assist, their intervention was not needed, as the farmer managed to use farm machinery to remove the animal from the water.
