Description: Crews from Devizes, Chippenham (x2), Trowbridge, Corsham, Pewsey, Swindon and Frome along with an Aerial Ladder Platform and Operational Support Unit from Swindon, Water Carrier from Ramsbury, and Command Support unit from Stratton were mobilised to a fire in the kitchen of a thatched property. Prompt actions by the first crew in attendance from Devizes prevented the incident from escalating and meant that the thatch was not involved in the fire. Crews used 4 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets and 2 mechanical fans to deal with the incident
