Description: At 03:29 fire control took a 999 call from an occupant of a house in Leighton Road Swindon reporting that clothes were on fire. During the call control were able to hear an alarm sounding indicating that there was smoke within the property. 1 fire engine from Swindon and 1 from Stratton fire stations were mobilized and were in attendance within 5 minutes of he call. The crews extinguished the fire and used natural ventilation to clear smoke.
