Garage Fire – Westbury

Date: 9th January, 2024

Time: 3.04pm

Description: Westbury - two fire crews from Warminster and one from Trowbridge attended a fire involving two private domestic garages on Chichester Park.  Two teams of firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using 4 hose reel jets and and a main line from a hydrant, bringing the fire under control by 4.35pm.  Crews remained a while damping down and ensuring the fire was fully extinguished, monitoring with a thermal imaging camera.
