Fire Heathland/Moorland – Canford Heath

Date: 23rd April, 2022

Time: 5.54pm

Description: 15 pumps, 6 off road landrovers and 4 water carriers mobilised to a heathland fire at Canford Heath.  Crews are still in attendance dealing with the incident which at its height threatened properties in Marchwood Avenue causing evacuation of some of the properties to take place.  No casualties have been reported and crews are now making good progress and fire front now reduced to approx to 100m.
