Description: Compton Abbas - Crews from the Shaftesbury fire station were mobilised to a report of a fire in a domestic property in Compton Abbas. In attendance crews confirmed a fire and requested further assistance coming from Gillingham, Sturminster Newton and Blandford fire stations along with a command support unit from the Sherborne fire station. The fire was located in an airing cupboard which had spread to the roof space, four breathing apparatus wearers with two hose reel jets extinguished the fire and made the property safe.
