Description: Fire crews from Swindon, Westlea and Stratton St Margaret have dealt with a fire on the balcony of a four storey block of flats in Seacole Crescent this afternoon. Crews used two breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet, a triple extension ladder, and a 13.5 metre ladder to extinguish the fire. Firefighters stripped away the fascia board to ensure that there was no fire spread. An ambulance was called for the occupant of the flat who was suffering from smoke inhalation. The incident involved plastic and furniture on the balcony.
