Description: We were called at 1.39am this morning (6th May) to reports of a fire affecting the roof of two commercial buildings in Copyhold Lane, Winterbourne Abbas. Firefighters from Dorchester attended and quickly requested support. At the height of the incident, seven fire engines and one specialist aerial ladder platform was in attendance (approx. 35 firefighters). Crews used three hose reels and two ground monitors to extinguish the fire. At this time we are unable to establish a cause due to the amount of damage at the scene.
