Description: We were called at 4:07pm today to a property on New Road in Chiseldon, Swindon. Six pumping appliances were initially mobilised from Stratton x 2, Swindon, Westlea, Chippenham and Cricklade along with the aerial ladder platform from Swindon and a support vehicle from Pewsey. On arrival crews found a fire involving a shed, trees, an electricity pole and two domestic properties. Firefighters in breathing apparatus are using main lines and hose reel jest to extinguish the fire. One casualty has been reported and in the care of the ambulance service.
Update 18:35 - Fire has been extinguished and incident has been scaled back to two appliances. who will remain on scene damping down and checking for hotspots. An investigation to determine the cause will take place later today.
