Description: Bournemouth - At 18:16 Fire Control received a 999 call from a passerby in Bournemouth reporting a chimney fire at an address on Ringwood Road. Our Redhill Park crew were mobilised and they confirmed the chimney to be alight on their arrival. A request from the incident ground for the nearest aerial ladder platform (ALP) to attend was then received and our ALP from Westbourne fire station was mobilised to assist. The fire was extinguished using a hose reel from the ALP. The crew then took the opportunity to complete a Safe & Well visit before leaving.
