As the Coronavirus regulations have not been extended to allow for Authority meetings to continue remotely under the Local Government Act, future meetings will be held in person.
We have considered room capacities to maintain social distancing and can confirm that venues have been chosen appropriately. Please be assured that hand sanitiser and wipes will be provided, the room will be ventilated and the layout will ensure 2 metres between each person. If you do attend any of our meetings please remember to wear your face mask.
If you have any symptoms or have tested positive for coronavirus, please do not attend.
The Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Authority and Finance & Audit Committees meet four times a year.
There are also four Local Performance & Scrutiny Committees who serve the local authority areas of Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole (BCP), Dorset, Swindon and Wiltshire.
If you wish to put a question to the Members’ of the Authority it should be no more than 450 words and submitted to [email protected] at least three full working days before the meeting. It will be read out by an Officer of the Service and answered by an Officer or a Member of the Committee as appropriate. All questions/statements and the responses will be published in full within the minutes of the meeting.
