As the Coronavirus regulations have not been extended to allow for Authority meetings to continue remotely under the Local Government Act, future meetings will be held in person.
The Service is continuing to maintain social distancing and will carry on using appropriate infection and prevention controls within our premises. Hand sanitiser and wipes will be provided, the room ventilated and the room layout will ensure distancing between each attendee. If you do attend any of our meetings please also ensure that you wear a face mask until you are seated in the room.
If you have any symptoms or have tested positive for coronavirus, please do not attend.
The Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Authority and Finance & Audit Committees meet four times a year.
There are also four Local Performance & Scrutiny Committees who serve the local authority areas of Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole (BCP), Dorset, Swindon and Wiltshire.
If you wish to put a question to the Members’ of the Authority it should be no more than 450 words and submitted to [email protected] at least three full working days before the meeting. It will be read out by an Officer of the Service and answered by an Officer or a Member of the Committee as appropriate.
