Featuring a number of different drills and demonstrations from the local crew, including a dramatic display of what happens when a chip pan catches fire. A range of emergency service vehicles will be on display, and visitors will be able to look around the fire station and find out more about what being a firefighter involves. There will also be a range of stalls, selling teas, cakes and hot refreshments. The proceeds will go towards the restoration of Maiden Newton's first 'Fire Engine House' and hand pump, which date back to 1800.
