To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of being in Gloucester Road, Malmesbury Fire Station is throwing open its doors to the community on Saturday 8th June 2019 between 10am and 3pm. Visitors will be able to meet the firefighters who protect our community, look around the fire station, understand the history of firefighting in our town, pick up community safety advice and see a range of operational fire engines including the new aerial appliance based at Swindon Fire Station. There will also be the opportunity for visitors to get their hands on the equipment used, and those who #needmore in their lives will have the chance to talk to personnel about joining the crew as on-call firefighters.
