We welcome requests for visit to SEND schools and will work with you to deliver a lesson suitable for your students.
If you have SEND children in mainstream schools, please let us know how we can make reasonable adjustments to ensure the lesson is inclusive to them. Please contact us via this form.
For primary lessons, we have individual resource packs to allow SEND children to go through the lesson at their pace with the assistance of a TA or teacher. Our education officers are also learning some of the main words in Makaton to enable those students who use this for communication to feel included. Please speak to your education officer when a visit is booked for more information.
We welcome requests for visits by fire crews, please speak to your education officer when booking your visit, or a visit on a specific topic, please use this form – please note, visits by firefighters will depend on the crew’s capacity and availability, and may not be available at all stations.
